Each of the seven students commented briefly on their experiences as follows: Hans (Denmark): “I am having a great time. I especially liked the South Island (SI) tour. I got to experience things I’d never done and the amazing nature during the trip.” Celestine (Belgium): “I am really enjoying being in another culture. I especially liked the SI tour and the bungee which was exciting.” Anna (Denmark): “Dunedin is great. I wanted to experience something different. Love the experience. I am afraid of heights so doing the bungee was great.” Francisca (Chile): “Being here with the Waimate Club is great fun. Mt best experience was seeing the All Blacks.” Olivia (Sweden): “I really love it here in New Zealand and experiencing a very different culture, nature and the people.” Sylvia (Taiwan): “I am proud of my flag and of my family. I really loved going skiing as I have not done that before.” Moe (Japan): “My home and family is very important to me. I loved the SI tour, meeting new friends and my memories.” Shona finished the session by giving a huge “thanks” to hosts who take great care of their charges. |
