END POLIO NOW Thursday 1st November 2018 - Please keep this date free For several years 20th Century Fox has offered Rotary the opportunity to run a major movie with the funds going to Polio Plus. You will recall over the past three years these movies have been, The Bridge of Spies, Murder on The Orient Express, and Eddie the Eagle and we also screened the Richie McCaw movie, Chasing Great. We have received advice that this year’s movie promises to be bigger and better than ever-trust me, it will rock you! Twentieth Century Fox don’t want to tell us the name of the movie just yet, but as we take advantage of this opportunity we will almost certainly be the champions. We ask clubs to break free, band together and to join their best friends for This year’s “End Polio Now” Movie Bohemian Rhapsody screening at Hoyts’ Riccarton on Thursday 1st November commencing at 6.30 pm. Oops!!! Did I mention the name, (naughty naughty) however with a little detective work we were able to source the name of the movie. Bohemian Rhapsody is a biographical film about the British Rock Band Queen, focusing on lead singer Freddie Mercury’s life. Freddie defied stereotypes and shattered convention to become one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet. The film traces the meteoric rise of the band through the years. Ticket Price is $20. The Rotary Foundation and Polio Plus will credit the club $10 for every ticket sold.
Tickets are now available. Please order through your club |
